SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

What is?
Is a road-map, an action, for achieving sustainability in any activity that uses resorces and where inmediate and intergenrational replication is demanded. All definitions of sustainable development require that we see the world as a system—a system that connects space; and a system that connects time.
What are low impact materials?
Are materials that no impact so much in the ecosystem:
1.-Metals
2.-Polymers
3.-Natural Materials
metals

Polymers

What is green computing?
Is the enviromentally responsible of use of computers and related resources.Such practices include the implementation of energy-efficent central procesing units servers and peripherals as a reduced resource.

Green Computing

Why do you think is important to work with new sustainable technologies?
IS important beacuese it hrlp to improve something or help the progess and maintain an activity

Artificial Intelligence

What is Artificial Intelligence?

Artificial Intelligence is the intelligence created by machines or a software. This means that a computers intelligence comes from an Intelligence agent.
Artificial Intelligence is the study of a modelling of human mental functions made by computer programs.

An example of Artificial Intelligence would be your ipad/ipod, iphone or your Tv, or even a robot.

Computer Life Cycle and Computer Recycling.

1. WHAT IS THE LIFE SPAN OF A COMPUTER?
Tech experts generally agree a computer should last anywhere between three to five years before needing to be replaced. Of course, this number is just a generalization and a number of factors play into lifespan, ranging from the computer's quality, care and room for upgrades.

2. WHAT ARE THE CAUSES FOR REACHING THIS END OF LIFE?
- Every PC becomes filthy with dust, dirt, hairballs, and other unfriendly goop given enough time.
- It can be overheated if there's not ventilation.
- Hard drives can become corrupt with file system errors and bad sectors due to improper shutdowns, crashes, and other issues.
- Data on traditional hard drives can become fragmented or spread out in different spots throughout the drive.
- Computers are masses of sensitive circuits and components, and any fluctuation in power can really upset them.
- A sudden loss of power can also cause problems with your computer, like losing unsaved documents or causing drive or file corruption.
- Viruses and malware don’t typically cause physical damage, repairing their destruction to your personal or system files can cost you big time.

3. HOW CAN YOU EXTEND YOUR COMPUTER'S LIFETIME?
- You should clean your computer system thoroughly every 6 to 12 months.
- Ventilation is another important issue when it comes to heat.
- Stop hard drive issues before they blow up.
- Keep your hard drive defragmented.
- Protect against power surges.
- Protect against power loss, too.
- Fend off malware.

4. WHAT IS COMPUTER RECYCLING AND WHAT IS THE SAFE WAY TO DISPOSE A COMPUTER?
Is the recycling of every electronic device.

Materials in Information Technology c:

Materials of fiber optics: A technology that uses glass (or plastic) threads (fibers) to transmit data.
- Materials for silicon-based semiconductor devices (including high-k gate dielectric materials);
- Materials for nonvolatile memories;
- Materials for on-chip interconnects and interlayer dielectrics (including silicides, barrier materials, low-k and ultra low-k dielectric materials); and
- Materials for assembly and packaging
The latest results in materials science and engineering as well as applications in the semiconductor industry are covered including the synthesis of blanket and patterned thin film materials, their properties, constitution, structure and microstructure. Computer modelling and analytical techniques to characterise thin film structures are also included to give a comprehensive survey of materials for the IT industry.
The Engineering Materials and Processes series focuses on all forms of materials and the processes used to synthesise and formulate them as they relate to the various engineering disciplines. The series deals with a diverse range of materials: ceramics; metals (ferrous and non-ferrous); semiconductors; composites, polymers, biomimetics etc. Each monograph in the series is written by a specialist and demonstrates how enhancements in materials and the processes associated with them can improve performance in the field of engineering in which they are used.

ROBOTICS

What are robtics?

The branch of technology that deals with the design, construction, operation, and application of robots. Robots are now widely used in factories to perform high-precision jobs such as welding and riveting. They are also used in special situations that would be dangerous for humans -- for example, in cleaning toxic wastes or defusing bombs.
